Cant get the code to work.

I have the btech gmrs v2 and i cant receive local fsr radios. I hear them all fine on my Midlands. Even when sq is set to 0

I thought they said the antenna was not removable.

I would have returned my v2 but the pro doesnt have a removable antenna.

Oh well. Ill be buying a new antenna after I get it. Or use adapters.

Oh i do hear static at sq o. Maybe the radio is not very good.

What antenna pins do they use? It would be nice to be able to use all the antennas I have for my Btech gmrs v2 without adapters. Im on the long wait list for mine. Its hard to float $200+ for a radio. Any comments??

Wont the adapters for quick change throw the swr off?

So did you ever contact them? Did you put up your own repeater?

I bought another v2. Same issue. I can hear locals talking on my midlands but not my v2.

Have you been transmitting on the v2 when its in the charger cradle? Have you been trying to hear when in the cradle? I was using my sw radio next to mine today while it was charging and the power supply put off alot of rf noise. By the way m v2 doesnt pick up outside standard radios and over all doesnt recieve well.

I did a full reset on the radio. Chirp does not show anything but basic settings most of us understand. I think the radio just does not receive weak radios.
