  1. I just recieved a VXR7000 repeater and duplexer pre-tuned to 462.650/467.650 and live north of Line A. I have the software to re-program the repeater but would have to send the duplexer out for tuning. Are you saying it's ok to use this frequency pair north of line A now? That would be great if I can. My license lists the restriction so I feel bound to that...
  2. I couldn't either, that's why I asked. I did find another thread where someone said they had dropped that restriction but I'll be darned if I can find it again lol...
  3. I can't seem to find any reference to the frequencies that aren't to be used north of Line A, is that still a thing? I followed the link to the new FCC rules and don't see it mentioned anywhere... Thanks
  4. Thanks, Yes, I was referring to the first example. I assume that since it states "voice only" transmissions digital (p25/motoTrbo) are not allowed correct?
  5. Hello, Recently received my license and have a question about permissible types of transmissions. I work in the service industry and travel with another technician, we work on fire systems. If he was to get his license, would we be able to coordinate our work activities while at a site? For example, during a system inspection, could we confirm alarms? When you look at 95.179, it only referrers to non-licensed individuals operating on a non-individuals system. Thanks
