  3. I haven't tried to program them from the radio itself I use a pc to program all my radios much simpler and faster for me sorry couldn't help on the matter maybe one of the other members have the knowledge or info you seek

  5. I can confirm KPG-49D version 4.02 from ham files works on windows 7 installed normal with no issues also just uninstalled and reinstalled with no issues

  12. 1.5 swr is pretty good changing to some hard line might get a little improvement my last purchase of LMR-400 wasn't that good of cable ( maybe a bad batch )

  14. after i'm done playing with the CCR radios i program a few freq and give them to the grandkids and nieces and nephews they don't last long after that but the kids have fun while they do

  16. ribbon cables can be purchased fairly cheap at different lengths even shielded or use aluminum tape for the shielding , would be a good project to give a try without harming the unit
