Hello, I am new in GMRS world. Yesterday I started looking for GMRS repeaters near me (Mount Prospect, IL) and unfortunately in myGMRS database I didn't find. I started searching on FRS and GMRS frequencies and every hour I can hear repeater signal on GMRS canal #21 (462.700, 467.700). The repeater transmits its name (something like DDSH... - I am not sure because of the quality of the voice is not the best) and current time. I didn't find any repeater in Illinois that has that name or operate on the frequency. Could you help me out what I can do to find more information of the repeater to be able to start using it?
