    I have a new GMRS license. I've got an 1,800 mile one way trip from Oregon to Kansas coming up. Is this service used at all on the road? Is it worth purchasing a mobile for the road? Obviously, I can use the rig and service at my destination. I'm wondering if it's worth a head start before I leave. Thank you, Ken
