  1. Thanks. I checked the connections and tightened and re-wrapped them. Everything seems to be working now. The problem started after an all day rain, so I'm assuming some moisture was the culprit.
  2. Also, a bit of a brain fart. It's not LMR-400 coax, but MPD-400 Super Flex
  3. No, different coax. I did just increase the squelch of the RT97 and I'm not getting the lock up at the moment on the original coax.
  4. I have a Retevis RT97 repeater set up at my house. It's been on the air for just over a year and has worked flawlessly, until last week. When I key it up now, it locks into transmit and doesn't stop until I shut it down. Feed line is LMR-400, which I know is a no no for repeaters, but it's what I had and it was working fine up until now. Is it possible that the LMR could be causing this behavior? The repeater does work normally if I switch to a spare magmount antenna that I have laying around. Anyone experienced anything like this before?
  5. Just a heads up for anyone interested in this radio. It's now available on Amazon with a $20 off coupon.
  6. Here's a little review on the GMRS-V2 https://www.miklor.com/COM/Review_GMRS-V2.php
  7. I was traveling on route 11 in Ohio this week and heard digital on 462.675, GMRS channel 20. Anyone have any idea what that was? It was hearing it from Warren to Cortland, and even into Rock Creek. I'm not from that area, so I'm not familiar with any usual GMRS activity there.
  8. Hello from Beaver County. I was into GMRS a while back and got away from it for a while. I just got back into it. Only have some frs/gmrs radios at the moment, but I have a Midland MXT115 coming later this week. As far as repeaters, I recall being able to hit the local REACT repeater in Beaver County. This was probably about 10 years ago, or so. I don't recall the frequency or tones at the moment, but when I get my new radio set up, I'm going to try to make contact again.
