I just recieved my IC-F61-2 for GMRS with the programing disk & cable. I was looking through the manual that I got offline and found on page 2 Function Display number 6, Compander Indicator. A brief explanationis: "Appears when compander funftion is activated." So what does the Compander function do? Stephen WRFW673 K6AKF
