DGM2020

I am new to the world of GMRS, have recently purchased a license and a couple radios. I do not know anyone in my area who can help me out and feel stuck. I programed my Baofeng after watching a Youtube video and cannot seem to transmit. The parrot channel doesnt work. I think I may need a digital ID, but frankly don't know what I am doing. Can someone steer me in the right direction so I can join the community?
