  1. Thank you, but I have tried every combination in Chirp but nothing worked. Now I will have to quit playing as the HYT is out of juice and I don't have a charger. But thank you for your help.
  2. That is a possibility but I don't know what the transmit code would be. I have the tone mode as tone, the tone sql defaults to 88.5, the DTCS code and the Rx DTCS code default to 23, the DTCS pol is NN, mode is FM and power is high. I tried to set the Tone sql to 67.0 but it reverted back to the default of 88.5. I am at a lost. So if anyone could help it would be much appreciated. The frequency that I am using on this is 464.5500. The full nomenclature for the Hytera is TC-518V OBR. Thank you.
  3. I have a Baofeng BF 888S which I have programmed on the 400Mhz band. There is an association that uses the HYT TC 518. The default PL is 67 so I programmed that into my BF. The HYT is able to transmit to the BF, but the BF dosen't transmit to the HYT. What could be the problem? I used CHRIP to program the BF.
  4. I am new at this so forgive my ignorance. When putting in a repeater channel, I am a little confused as to tone. I can just put tone or Cross tone or TSQL or DTCS but I can't figure exactly what tone to use. For example: 462.60000 +5 Any suggesstions would be a great help, thank you and Happy New Year.
