  1. asterisk -rx "rpt fun 25312 *3177" This did the trick it now shows that I am connected to the 177 hub. Thanks for the support
  2. Thanks and point taken about the different images. I just had a few Pi4 devices laying around and wanted to see if I could get it working using the HamVoip as it seems others have had luck with it. Given current pricing on Pi3b device it was worth the try. Yes its all registered and it shows up on the map with the stats so I believe its connected to the network. Thanks again for the help
  3. Sorry that was my mistake, it should be rpt fun 25312*3177 That is what I am entering anyway.
  4. Hi, yes my node is up and running and can be seen on the map. If you look at the map, Seattle area it's the north Bothell repeater. It is also showing keyups so I am pretty sure that its at least talking to the MYGMRS side of things. There is another repeater just down the road from me and that owner confirmed the command worked for them and it does show that repeater is now linked to the 177 hub. Even rebuilt the PI image on a new SD, that made no difference. Thanks for the response totally appreciate it.
  5. Running into issues with getting my node linked to a hub. I have entered the command on my end and here is what happens. root@alarmpiNBothell ~]# Sudo asterisk -rx "opt fun 25312*3177" Response: Usage: apt fun <nodename> <command> Send a DTMF function to a nod root@alarmpiNBothell ~]# Any Ideas would be a great help Thanks in advance Brian
  6. Hi, I am in the process of setting up my node and getting my repeater online. Have run into something that I don't understand, when I log in to manage my node there is no node listed and I get a message that says that I am not the manager or this node. It shows up on the map and the node is assigned to my repeater so I am confused. Any help would be great. Thanks Brian
  7. I am running a vertex 7000 and found that if you have to retune the duplexer depending on the quality of the duplexer it's just easier to by a new one. This was my case and I paid $150 on Amazon for a duplexer tuned to the GMRS Freq range. It has worked perfectly.
  8. My vxr-7000 is up and running seems to work great. I configured the CWID to transmit roughly every 10 minutes and it worked great for about a day. Now it only ids when Someone transmits, it can sit idle for hours with not ID. Does anyone know is this by design or is something else wrong? Thanks in advance Brian
  9. Hi, finally got my vxr-7000 up and running. Working out antenna placement and was wondering the best way to check SWR/Power output? I am hoping there is an inexpensive test equipment that will do the job. Thanks WROD852 N4wzy
  10. Again thanks to everyone, I have it on and doing some low power testing TX and RX seem good. Cwid works great. here a few screen shots of some settings I am not sure about. One other thing when I saved the settings it force me into Narrow band and it will not let me save in Wide but it seem to work.
  11. Another question, under common there is a RX adjustment, TX adjustment and TX power adjust. Any advice on these configs?
  12. Everyone has been great, and it's making more sense now thank you so much.
  13. And if I have the Freq reversed that may also mean I have the duplexer connect backwards as well. I currently have the receive antenna connector to the Low side of the duplexer and the Tx connector to the High side of the duplexer. The upside other than looking at programing I have not yet tried to send or receive anything.
  14. Wow thanks so much. I have the software and cable and have access to and config file and have been pocking around. I am going to ask a silly question, I thought that the RX Freq should be the low 462. and the 467 TX. After seeing yours it would appear I have them backwards. When I programed my Wouxun they looked like this and again sorry new at the repeater side of things. Name Rx Freq. Tx Freq. Offset Shift Dir. Op. Mode Tone Mode CTCSS Tx Power Scan Comment GMRSr15 462.55000 467.55000 5.00 MHz Plus FM Tone 141.3 Hz High Skip GMRS Main Repeaters GMRSr16S 462.57500 467.57500 5.00 MHz Plus FM Tone 141.3 Hz High Skip BSR EARS Neighborhood Safety - GMRS Repeaters GMRSr17 462.60000 467.60000 5.00 MHz Plus FM Tone 141.3 Hz High Skip Prepper/Emergency GMRSr18 462.62500 467.62500 5.00 MHz Plus FM Tone 141.3 Hz High Skip
  15. Hello, I was recently given a working vxr-7000 repeater and need to reconfigure it. I have access to programing and have added the repeater Freq, I am new to this and not sure really what I should be looking for to ensure it all properly configure. If someone has some experience with this repeater and can offer some help with what fields need to be set or even provide a working config file for me to compare to that would be great. I have everything in place and connected just want to ensure the config is properly done. Thanks for any help sent my way Brian N4wzy
