I selected the proper radio... volume was up. All my other radios (Baofeng), have worked. I will just do a manual entry on the keyboard. Thank you so much for your reply. Also thank you for your videos..... I have learned a lot about GMRS from you.

I purchased a Baofeng 9r and also a programming cable and it came with a mini cd . Since my laptop does not have a mini cd player I tried to download the Baofeng driver and it won't open saying the file is not compatible with the Adobe system. Any ideas? I am very new to GMRS.

It's a cheaper radio Tidradio GM-5R..... just wanted to get started with adding repeaters. This is my entry into GMRS. I thank you for your reply and knowledge.

I would like to know if there are any groups in the Central Florida area that can help me program my hand held set? I am very new to GMRS. Any ideas?
