I bought the BNC connector and a BNC adapter that closes the gap. It also provides support at the base. I got it sorted. I had the freqs backwards. Duh!! Then the software would not download. Got that sorted, and adjusted the bands. Should be better now. Waiting on parts for the antenna build. Sent from my SM-T860 using Tapatalk

I'm doing a powerbox for a repeater. My question is on the location of the outlets. I'm wanting to put the outlets on the front (red box). I will be using this indoors so at this point I'm not concerned about water intrusion if that is why they mount the outlets on the top. I also have a small trickle charger that will be basically hardwired with this outlet. This will keep the 124whr battery topped off, and all one package. I know the rt97 uses 25w while broadcasting. I figured that all they can do is say no, so I sent them a question if they had any discount codes. I ended up getting the rt97 delivered for $340!! I didn't get the two radios because; 1, I already have plenty, 2, I didn't think to. I had been gaming the cart thinking that the radios were the reason for that crazy shipping, and I forgot to put them back on. Still happy with the cost. Oh and getting 5-7 days shipping. As was said it's not that bad. Sad GMRS operators try to make it more than it is to pump up their importance. I just, out of curiosity, checked the number of GMRS licenses in my county, 37!!
