Thanks Frank, Have you used the repeater option ? No many repeaters in the Northeast where I am. Or, many are closed to the public. Nice option to bubble pack radio.
  8. Looking to pick up a pair for quick use. I know the distance stated is way inflated and the antenna is perm. They are not repeater capable. But what the heck for a bubble.
  9. How does one sign up for the Tech Exam? I am in the NYC / Long Island area
  10. How can one access your repeater? Steven
  11. Hi JohnE Your photo of the TNB was cool. I live close by and am new to GMRS. Also want to get Tech License . Do you know of any local Ham Club in the part of the Empire State? Bud
  12. Ok, understood. Out! BTW,, I see you are a Ham operator. Been trying to get my Tech license cant seem to find a local class to help with the math. Almost impossible to find one. I see you are in South Florida and do not expect you to know the NYC/LI area. BUT, maybe there is a directory you know of. Thanks in advance.
  13. Any reviews on this radio? Also is it part 95 certificated for GMRS?
