    Just an update, I used the import version software, found a bluemax programming cable and was able to program wideband and gmrs frequencies. The radio works great for gmrs. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Does anyone have experience programming the Vertex 5400. I am looking at a programming disc and cable on ebay for $49.99. Will this work for wideband or only narrow band programming? Any help would be appreciated.

    I have a Vertex EVX-5400 UHF radio. Can this be programed for GMRS and what software do I need? Any help would be appreciated.
