I just received my Baofeng UV-82HP from baofengtech here in the usa love the radio was fairly easy to program with the purchase of FTDI Programing Cable , had no issues programing was straight forward , however had to do RMA on the battery that came with radio, was bad from factory , baofeng tech is replacing battery hopefully I'll get it back next week. radio sounds great I also have the nagoya N771A Antenna works great , fm radio works great and sounds good from little speaker on the radio ,over all I like the uv-82hp was supprised how small the radio was, looks bigger online than it actually is.   11. I just got my gmrs license the only repeater that I know of is in deltal jct alaska which is south of fairbanks I have four radios two midland gxt1000 and two midland gxt5000 they are quiet , I live in wasilla alaska which is 47 miles north of anchorage
