I have a Retevis RT97 setup at my house with a Ed Fong GMRS antenna with cheap coax and it works very well. It sits higher than the surrounding area but I can hit it with a 5 watt HT from 15 miles away no problem. Also you can watch this video:

Ok looking at this it is there is no other way, Duplexer it is. Thanks for the very helpful info.

Vertically or horizontally? I guess Vertically that way I can use the same vertical mast. Thanks for the responses.

I'm wondering how far apart the TX antenna needs to be from the RX antenna?
