  1. I tried to start a radio Net on my open repeater (Hobby Radio 650). So far I haven't had any takers.
  2. Hi Trying to find info about an unknown repeater on 462.675 using 141.3 Hz travel tone I found it "by accident' and noticed it seems to work great with both mobile and HT in my area so it would be nice to be able to use it when outside of our normal range. I have listened for quite some time and so far I have not heard any ID and traffic seems sparse.. So it would be nice to know if it is OK for public use. It doesn't seem to be listed in myGMRS, none of the few existing listings have a match. And I am located in the Glen Ellyn-Lombard area of IL. Thanks /Bernt WQYS347
  3. Hello, I am new in GMRS world. Yesterday I started looking for GMRS repeaters near me (Mount Prospect, IL) and unfortunately in myGMRS database I didn't find. I started searching on FRS and GMRS frequencies and every hour I can hear repeater signal on GMRS canal #21 (462.700, 467.700). The repeater transmits its name (something like DDSH... - I am not sure because of the quality of the voice is not the best) and current time. I didn't find any repeater in Illinois that has that name or operate on the frequency. Could you help me out what I can do to find more information of the repeater to be able to start using it? Thank you in advance for your help and time, Have a wonderful day, WRDF476
