  1. I just purchased a Kenwood TK-880 off of Ebay and a programming cable (BlueMax49ers FTDI USB Serial Cable). I installed KPG-60D for windows and I get an error when I attempt to communicate with the radio. I choose "Program" then "Read from Radio", and get error "Check radio type. Retry or Cancel". I verified the COM port. The radio shows "Program", but the software isn't getting past this message. On other forums I read that software KPG-49D is used for this radio. I downloaded the program but it won't install on my Windows 7 PC. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
