A disturbance moving through the southern US may move into the northern Gulf of Mexico early to mid week. If conditions stay favorable, some tropical development could take place. We are advising persons along the Gulf Coast to monitor this potential very closely through your local National Weather Service advisories in media. You can also check the National Hurricane Center website for official information.
