KPG-70DK

I was given a Kenwood TK-8102H Type1 radio that has never been programmed. The radio is discontinued by Kenwood. Since I have no idea if the radio is in working order, Im trying to find the programming software that I can get free. i dont want to spend $75 on a radio that wont work. I have KPG-70D, KPG-70DN and neither of those will work. I need the KPG-70DK for this radio. Does anyone have this software that can program this radio or would give me a copy?

I would suggest you download them and try. Just because it says "KPG70D" doesn't mean it really isn't the version you need. I've run into that several times.

Using the software make sure you select the right model. Usually there are multiple to pick from, like TK-8102K, TK-8102M etc. Close won't work.

I checked my listings for software version and they all show KPG-70D should work.
