Hey Guys/Gals,

I was wondering how the weather is across the entire US and how it has affected your location. We here in the south haven't experienced a bad weather scenario as of yet but I hear in the northern region there has been some harsh conditions, let us know your situation and   any issues with your repeater systems or other problems due to the weather...William

When we were in Gulf Shores, Alabama in November, it was colder than average. Had three nights during the month when overnight temp's were in the low 20's.   However, our alternate locations in Wisconsin and Michigan have also had colder than average temps for much of December and the first week of January - minus 19 degrees several times with wind chills at minus 45.  In fact, it was colder in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan for a week or so than it was in Anchorage, Alaska.

Lately, there has been average temps in the 20's and lower than normal snowfall.  Our TSRC software has logged a flattening of the Jet Stream in the past week, so temperatures in the upper Midwest will be slightly above average for a few days yet...

Snowy. Lubbock got about 4" of snow the yesterday, Amarillo got about 10".

The repeaters still outperform the amateur repeaters in the area…
