this is a place for Central Florida GMRS operators to communicate, and co-ordinate operations.
i have some ideas for starting a few GMRS activities.

just getting into the GMRS side of radio , I have been a ham radio operator for 20 + years the name is William located in Vero Beach i have my radio connected to my outside antenna at about 40 feet in the air hope to hear some people soon

Who is in or near Ocala

In my area I use the Orlando700 which is starting to really pick up and down Hutchinson Island / Stuart area I use the Hobe Sound 600 & Ft Pierce 575. It is unfortunate, the 575 is no longer interconnected with other repeaters do to the FCC rules BS changes - but still fun to keep in touch w family & friends in the area.
