We had a great turnout for our first official club net. We would like to thank each of our members for their time to attend. We hope to see everyone next week and hope to see those who were unable to attend.
Good luck Jeff in your pursuit of your Ham Radio license, Glenn thank you for allowing the club the use of the repeater and enjoy hearing about the MG, Barrett so glad you and the wife found GMRS and enjoy hearing from you when you're in town (truck driver). In closing we had a fun time and hope to hear from everyone next week.

Good turn-out, thank you to everyone for attending our club net. Instead of a net question I tried a new script that has news and announcements about things pertaining to GMRS/FRS. I did some research and found a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CSTk7F4GHs&t=176s&pp=0gcJCa0JAYcqIYzv of news that a GMRS operator has made a petition to get new frequencies added to GMRS and FRS in which I shared it with the check-ins during announcements then had a comment session about it, we had a good 30 to 45 minute comment session with great feedback and input. With that said, if anyone has any GMRS/FRS news contact WSHD977 30 minutes prior to net (7:00 pm’ish) and we can get it out to our members.
I’m still working on trying to keep each net more informative and simple.
