I would like to ask another question since this repeater is open; could you please tell me what the markings are on the 5 pin IC on the green board? It appears to be a voltage regulator and mine was blown apart from an apparent lightning/voltage spike. I have not found a schematic for this repeater anywhere. Thanks, WRUY699.
My friend also, had absolutely no problem loading the GM-30 software from the Radiodity Web site! This friend came over and even he could not get either of my two Win10 computers to load the software. A on-line suggestion was to try downloading and try a free app called "VLC Media Player". I did, and the software loaded/extracted and is working perfectly. Maybe something in my Win10 security was a problem. So if others have a problem, don't give up!
I have tried several times to load the software for the Radioddity GM-30 radio from their website with no luck on two of my Win10 computers. I have previously downloaded software for my Retevis repeater, Wouxun kg935g radio with no problems. Any ideas? Thank you. Karl, WRUY699
I have added a repeater and I still can't get the "GMRS antenna" icon to move to the repeater's location on the map. It placed itself about 30 miles north of my listed repeater, Warren 550, in Warren, MI., when I listed it. WRUY699.
