I have two Midland 75-440 units, had them since 9/11. Love them, mil-spec, repeater capable, great radios. I have a chance to get an SP-440 at a great price. I know it's programmable (like my 75-440's) and covers the appropriate spectrum. My question is: can I program it to GMRS frequencies? I've searched the web but find no information. Thank you in advance!
