Ok, after trying to download chirp, I started getting messages that said there were no drivers. I tried to install drivers but I got messages saying drivers could not be found. My operating system was windows 8. Since my last post, the laptop with windows 8 crashed. My new laptop arrived today and is running windows 11. Tried downloading chirp again and cannot due to some S mode mumbo jumbo. I want to bypass this S mode but message says once you get rid of the S mode, you can never get it back. I guess it is some sort of protection. I've got 3 radios to program and I really want to use the chirp software. Any help with getting around this S mode stuff would be greatly appreciated.
