Wanting to contact local repeater owners in my area to discuss implementing meshtastic nodes on their towers. I don't know any of them personally, so I wouldn't even know where to begin researching to find out who owns them to try to contact them.

Nice to see people are jumping on board with Meshtastic. Would be great to see more activity on this subject, tho I realize this is primarily a radio enthusiast website. That said, I've just received my first handheld meshtastic device, and have a roof node ordered and on it's way. I'll pretty much be the (one of the) first in my area to adopt it from what I can tell, so hoping I can spread some coverage far enough to get other people on board. Does anyone here know of any way of contacting local GMRS repeater owners to find out about connecting in order to implement Meshtastic coverage?
