I got the programming cable for this radio and I found out it works great with chirp instead of the btech software. I was able to put names of two repeaters

You don't tell me what to do

I've read regarding to this and from what I'm told it's not legal for those not in the same household. Not sure why people think it's OK it's not. One family asked me if they could I told them that it wasn't allowed and it was stated by the fcc when I spoke to them. Not sure why people thinks they can but IMHO I don't believe that should be allowed

This Btech GMRS 50V2 Mobile unit is doing well and it's able to use up to 50 watts. It can also be able to go from 50, 20, and 5 watts. I'm on the local repeater and York Maine repeater system. So far it's been working great.

Excuse me I have it set up now your attitude about it is out of order in fact I'm not that far from the York Maine repeater. So far I've been doing really good with it.

I'm not as worried about it since I do have six handhelds as backups but thanks for the tip

New Hampshire area I'm in has two repeaters while Maine has multi repeaters. Maine has been very active. I'm talking on the York repeater and I've made numerous of contacts on it. So far no problems

I recently reread the FCC rules regarding certain communications allowed. One example is that I gave a warning of a motorcycle accident. one person tried to tell me that it was a violation of the FCC rules. as it would be, I read to them what it says and that I was in right plus I called the FCC to have them verify that I was in the right. FCC said that I actually prevented someone from arriving to a hazardous situation and to have them rerouted for safety So this ruling of what I did was legal

I just purchased the Btech GMRS 50 V2 mobile unit and I'll be putting it together as a base station . I have six handheld radios as back up incase of power loss so I'm glad to prepare for severe weather. 73s WSAE510 NH

Has anyone have the Btech GMRS Pro radio? So far I don't have issues with it so I was wondering if anyone has one

According to the FCC it's not illegal to link repeater to Zello channels. I called them and they said that it is NOT illegal those who says its illegal is wrong

I totally agree that's what I read in owners manual for all six of my owners manual

Ok I'm not sure what to think about him but he's facing back lashes for some of his postings. IMHO as far as it goes his attacks calling people sad hams is getting out of control.

Well I find it helpful so as far as it goes so I find it better when hitting the repeater

The Tidradio is considered the best radio so far. So I'm wondering if anyone else has this radio
