    Also what frequency does the receiver need to be on?

    I have used Chirp and I was able to hear the repeater but was not able to communicate but I think the problem was that I took the +5 out of the program in Chirp. I am about 5 miles from the repeater. No line of sight.

    Thank you for your response. I used Chirp. The following screen shot is what I have inputScreen shot of Chirp.docx It seems that I have been able to hit the repeater. What I need to know is what channel does the person that I am calling need to be on to receive my transmission through the repeater?
