In this new video series we will show how to build a repeater from two existing older radios. Our plan is to build back-up repeaters for our 2m and 70cm main units (Yeasu). For this video series we demonstrate that these older radios can even be programmed for GMRS (obviously not part 95e certified) but only for demonstration purposes. The build process and programming would be the same whether for 2m or 70cm.

Hello folks,
Some of you might be interested in our video series on deploying our club's GMRS repeater to our main repeater site. We are also currently in another video series where we are building a GMRS repeater to deploy at our secondary site. We do have several other Amateur radio frequency repeaters in service but GMRS is still an important service for us all to use and to provide to our community.
