your tones are under t-ctcss and r-ctcss, in your menu that's where you'll put in the right tones. then there is the offset, it should be 005.000 megahertz. I hope that helps some. Im new to GMRS myself.

Not much traffic up here in northern mi. I ask for radio checks just to get someone to answer. just no answers. Like to know how well I transmit and receive. to much of a newbie? who knows.

I don't live in Ohio but I find it hard to find traffic up here in mi. Never had a transmission, brand newbie.
