I wanted to listen to many of the 800-900 frequencies like a scanner essentially. Here in San Diego the police and fire, park rangers others all broadcast in the band in with this was designed for. I have no attachment to the radio really and I’m actually going to get a new TIDradio H3 something looked badass with 8 bands and Bluetooth programming I’m way excited since I live right by ext to San Diego Limburg field (Point Loma) I always get a nice selection of channels to hear in on. Just recently purchased a used Motorola XPR 6580 DMR on eBay, and purchased a battery. The battery isn’t OEM and I am having issues with it powering up. Any way I can test this thing and find out why it won’t power on? Any way to bench test the unit? Need some ideas I really want to use this thing Thanks guys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trying to connect too two local reporters and wanted to make sure I had asked for permission the correct way. I’m brand new to this but have been using radios for years. Forgive my noob question!
