I just got my callsign and first radios (uv-9g) and was just wondering if this sort of thing existed myself. I would be interested in assisting with this project.

Greetings All! I just got my callsign today (WSFH602) and my first radios (Baofeng UV-9G) just arrived! I am in south-central Wisconsin. What are the tips, tricks, or advice you wish you had know when you were first starting into GMRS? What are you top links for GMRS for all levels of users such as: casual, hobbyist, or power user (if that is a thing)?
