I have two of the GM-30 PLUS and used CHIRP with UV-17ProGPS to program the radios today. The first several times I tried using CHIRP with these radios, CHIRP would freeze up when I went to the Settings tab. After coming back to it today, CHIRP worked seamlessly for programming and modifying the settings. I was even able to make changes to the Bank names. CHIRP shows all 1,000 memory positions in a single list with Bank 1 showing in positions 1-100, Bank 2 in positions 101-200, and so on.
