  1. Got it. And I understand completely. Thanks again for taking the time to answer.
  2. Thank you. I presently have an unlocked Wouxon KG-UV9PX, and there are two GMRS repeaters in my local area that utilize the same frequency pair, albeit with different tones. I understand some radios offer channels 31-39 for additional repeaters (if I'm not misunderstanding) but the Wouxon docs that came with the radio make no mention of this (unless I missed it). In my truck, I have a Midland MXT575 but due to rotator cuff surgery I can't drive for about 6 weeks, so I'm playing with the Wouxon right now.
  3. I'm new to the world of GMRS radios (actually, all radios) and this is probably a basic question, but here goes. When programming in repeaters, how do you go about accounting for multiple repeaters that use the same frequencies. I believe that tone codes are used to delineate one repeater from the other, but is it possible to program these into the radio as two separate entries? If so, how...just continue by adding the second repeater at Channel 30, and so on? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help.
