Then what is PMR?

I recently purchased a used ICOM F-6020 and have successfully programmed it using the ICOM software. On the menu bar of the software there is a selection for “Model” LMR or PMR, I can find nothing in the software or owners manual that addresses this setting. I did my programming with the LMR selection which seemed to be the default. Radio seems to work fine but was just curious what the difference between the 2 settings are. Anybody? Anybody?
