A HT or mobile, with high selectivity, clean transmissions (minimal spurious emissions), able to be programed by chirp. Nice to have a zone feature but this is not necessary.

New to the San Marcos area, met a couple of really nice guys on Alamo NB the other day. He told me about yall's monthly net. Unfortunately this month I will be working way out in Gonzales County so I doubt I will be able to join. Looking forward to meeting people. Is there a way to listen online? EDIT: I noticed the Alamo City GMRS website is down, is this permanently?
