Hi All, Im a newbie, just got my GMRS license yesterday WRFE489 in the Asheville, NC area. Was looking at the repeater map and noticed several in my area. I don’t know if they are active, the site says to get permission to use but the owner is not active. It looks like it might be part of the Smoky Mtn Digi Hams GMRS. Any guidance on connection/getting permission for these repeaters would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Mike
