Currently in Michigan there is 1575 active as of 7/8/2020

29 Cancelled

In my zip-code there is 2 I'm one of them, but the other is cancelled on 10/12/2013

Lots of great repeater information on here. As for myself I will stick to the ones that are open for now and then way later down the road I will ask to use someones repeater possibly. As for building one out from what I see on here that can get expensive which I would have no clue how to at this time . Wealth of information on here. I look forward to eventually having a repeater later down the road. For now this is all new for me and is great.

Hi I'm new here, I recently received my GMRS license and purchased a pair of  Midland  FRS 2 way radios. In the near future,  I would like to get a MicroMobile GMRS unit. I understand that I am able to communicate with FRS on certain channels. What I am wondering is, am I allowed to use FRS radio in conjuction with the MicroMobile unit in the same room or vehicle, since I have a GMRS license?

Hello everyone. Newbie here myself in Michigan. I see there is a lot of information on here. I see this is a good group of people.

Possibly later on to try for HAM, but for now I am excited to learn the basics of GMRS and gain knowledge from those who have superior experience.
