There has been a linked repeater owner who has been threatened by hams giving out his address and calling for hams to attack his repeater tower. This is going too far. I also think since the FCC wasn't very clear on this regulation and at one time said it was ok. That this could be an example of the chevron deference which the SCOTUS just ruled on.

My V2 delivered on Sunday. So far it is great. Hit a repeater over 20 miles away with full quieting. Reports said the signal and audio were perfect. I did modify the squelch value settings which you can find on miklor. com. Programming with CHIRP is super easy.
