From the stated frequencies listed, the 1000G should be able to tune in the frequencies of the ISS, or am I mistaken?

Thanks, that I realize, I just don't see it in the programming software.

Reviewing the manual, I don't see how to assign a specific function through the software to one of the three Keys , (A,B,or C)?

I meant to post this to the Wouxun KG-1000G tips and tricks thread but missed the target.

Not sure if there is a way to move it into that thread, but would welcome replies and any other suggestions on how to get the most to this unit!

There are a few niceties that Chirp has that RTS does not have that I wish it did have (like hiding unused channels) but RTS is supported software.

Is there programming cable any different than the one I purchased with the unit?

I am guessing not and only need the software.

How do users setup the two areas of this radio to get what seems like the most from two Areas?

Strictly set one side to scan, and the other to a certain channel, or something more creative?

No can do. Wouxun software does not permit cell copy paste in any software of theirs I have tried. Their software is bare-bones bottom of the line unsupported software.

There is however one copy&paste function that does work. You can copy and paste a row.

On the other hand, RTSystems (https://www.rtsystemsinc.com/KG-1000G_c_2086.html ) does sell a programming kit that does allow this.
