    It was something that was fairly easy to figure out from the manual but I was in the car trying to lock out a channel and nothing seemed correct. Going through the menu I never would have thought that SC-ADD was what I needed.

    Turns out it's called SC-ADD. Go to the channel you want to block change SC-ADD from ON to OFF and you're good to go.

    I'd like to be able to scan the channels while I'm driving but I don't need the radio stopping on the weather channels every few seconds. Is there a way to lock them out so I can scan without hearing them?
