can some one help me .i canrt seem to make any contacts. im not sure if anyone can actually hear me or if im connected to local reapeater. what am i doing wrong

i tried to connect to Latino625 and South 1 which i have permission to connect to. How did you find the first 5 on the list. i have not seen them before.?

ita repeater ready i have the radiooddity db20g and the btech 50x1. i know both can connect.

Im new to the hobby and have permission to join it. i have the codes but dont know what im doing 100 % . can someone tell me how to connect to the repeater? i know its a rookie question but any help would be appreciatied.

Can someone please help me . i have a btech 50x1 .i have a bf-uv10r and uv5r. i cannot get them to speak to each other on a repeater . i can hear them on my btech 50x1 but cannot be heard on the bf radios when speaking out of the btech . i know its something stupid . does anyone know how to get the offset enabled of the repeater channels on the btech?. for some reason i haave neg and postive on at the same time. its so effing annoying .. please explain the proper way to connect to a repeater on both ends so i can talk farther than a block. thanks
