I'm going to make a mic cable and run it down to the middle of the am/fm radio area somewhere so i dont have the mic cable like it is. can't decide if i want to-do the pass or driver side and i think i'm just going to try to find a cat5e wall mount end or something to make it look good

Do you think the radio faceplate would stay with the use of some locktight (commercial Velcro?) or a suction cup? Wondering if I need to really screw through the plastic
what bracket did you use for the radio head/ faceplate ?

has anyone successfully installed just the faceplate of the Wouxun 1000g overhead in a Jeep Wrangler, with the main body installed elsewhere ?
I haven’t been able to find a mount that will support just the faceplate. Seems as if every mount wants to install the entire radio overhead.
