    Best way would be to link the repeaters. There is some hardware in the mygmrs.com shop for that.

    Just doing a quick search on mygmrs.com shows them out, but I assume that linking the repeaters requires an internet connection for one or both of the repeaters?

  2. I have family within range of a repeater (R1), but I'm not in range.

    I'm on the bottom/side of a hill so I can't reach it, but I can see a location about two miles away that does have reception.

    Is it possible for me to talk to THAT property owner two miles away & have me put up a repeater (R2) there?

    I don't think my family would be able to receive the (R2) signal either but the original repeater (R1) would be able to hear R2.

    I'm not sure if it's possible for the near repeater(R2) to receive my transmission and then send it to the far repeater(R1) that sends again to family. (and back)

    If not, any other suggestions?
