    I've got 2 new KG-Q10G radios that I'm trying to program via the rt systems software and associated rt cable. Purchased directly from rt systems. Software install went perfectly. Com port was found and identified. Opened a new file, downloaded radio #1, made my changes in the file and saved it. Uploaded the new file to radio #1 and again everything went perfectly. Moved on to radio #2. Software will not communicate with radio #2. Went back to radio #1 and everything worked perfect again. I've tried rebooting the computer several times and I did a full reset on radio #2. The software will still not communicate with radio #2 but works every time on radio #1. Both radios work perfectly fine on their own. I can program both from the keypad with no problems. I can't imagine it's a problem with the software or the cable because it works every time on radio #1. Am I missing something or is one of my new radios defective? I've got other misc radios and software and have never experience this kind of problem before between radios. Please just let it be user error!

    Brand new to all of this, so pretty sure this is an operator error issue... After pressing the menu/enter button and toggling to Repeater(09), I haven't been able to select the "off" to switch to "on" by pressing the menu/enter button. When I do so, I get sent back to the Home Screen. This doesn't happen with other functions. I've gone through the manual a number of times will little enlightenment. I'm a Mac guy so the programming software isn't an option. Any suggestions?

    Hello all. New here and learning every day. I have a question about how to correctly enter, in my case, repeater DCS codes, but in general how to translate the codes from sites like myGMRS.com. If I want to add a repeater and the TX/RX Tone is listed as 205 DPL. Do I understand correctly, according to the chart below, that is the same thing as a DCS code (34 or D205N). Do I enter the tone as 34 or D205N or does it matter? Likewise for CTCSS codes. If a code is listed as 173.8 PL. If I am correct that's the same thing as CTCSS code 32 or 173.8? FYI, I have a Wouxun KG-Q10G and Baofeng GMRS-9. Thanks
