I guarantee that dude has never seen real boobies in his entire life...

Dude, you're from California.  It's getting harder and harder to find real boobies here any more.

Likely getting harder to find “real” women there too.

Buying some antenna stuff.

Got the Diamond NR240CA wide band antenna just to screw around with.

Picked up the optional spring lower section for the Comet CA-2x4SR wide band antenna.

Finally got the super flex dual band antenna  with the BNC connector to use with the HT SMA/BNC adapters.

As usual somebody has an over the top mobile radio installation. And some here complain they can’t find a place to mount one or two radios? Maybe they haven’t tried hard enough. 😵‍💫

Q: Which band are you working today?

A: Yes.

It's been interesting following the FTX-1 pre-order drama online, I guess. People walking into Hamvention and walking out with one, while pre-orders have not been shipped yet. Seems like HRO is shipping out orders now though.

i'm old enough to remember when they were all real.

Real ones were so much better,  it never entered your mind that the ones you were playing with could have been made in 'China'  😅

That 2x4 is a pretty remarkable antenna. I get good performance on GMRS, 2m, and 70cm, and the SWR/Smith graphs are nearly perfect on MURS and 1.25m as well. The graphs don't show how well an antenna can transmit on a given band, and I'm a little skeptical that one antenna can perform well on 5 bands, but at some point, I'll try it on 220 and see what I get. It would be great if it could do 220, because that would mean I can put the Anytone tri-band radio in my little car and use only one antenna. There are tri-band antennas out there, but so far, I haven't found one that gives me good SWRs on 140, 440, 220, and GMRS. I don't want to give up GMRS, so I'd need another antenna for it. I don't care much about MURS. It's nice to know I have the capability if I need it, but I've literally never used it, and I'd give it up for good performance on the other 4 bands.

There is a similar antenna from Diamond. It’s the NR240CA.
