Hello, Matt here and I am in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Im not new to GMRS but new to the idea of making a portable repeater for Dispersed Camping, Family comms and Jeep events here in the Ozarks and fishing on Beaver Lake. Im an ex Firefighter/Rescue Tech so It's just in my blood to be prepared. Long time 10/11 meter guy and made the swap after my Dad passed and ran out of people to talk to in the 11 meter skip. Looking for someone who has made an ammo can style GMRS repeater and hopefuly see a build sheet. Youtube has many videos on this but are pretty out dated. Considering using some Baofengs. I have several HG-1's for each car and my boat. Sorry for the rambling. Im still on my first cup. Happy Holidays.
