Someone should contact Icom America, and ask them to apply for Part 95E certification for this rig, as it would pass with flying colors. FCC ID number is AFJ318001. Quote

The response I got was, "Sorry, we don't have any GMRS products at this time, maybe in the future"... So more people will have to bug them about a GMRS product line... Quote
