Tk 8180 programing on Windows 10?

Has anyone used windows 10 to program an Kenwood tk-8180. My windows 98 laptop now rests in peace, which is what I programmed my kenwoods with. I attempted to use windows 10 yesterday. No luck. Any sugestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Also tried to read from an Tk-8150 to no avail.

Try using a VM, like VirtualBox (free), Parallels or VMWare.

Not sure about 8180, but KPG-49D (for 880) and KPG-101 (for 3170) work fine on Windows 10-x64.

Thank you Berkinet. I will try that later this week. I may be able to do that on Linux also. That never occured to me.

Kenwoods 89D software does work on Windows 10 (Its how I program an 8180 I have been testing with)
